What better place to find old and collectable maritime artifacts and general antiques than the home of Tasmanian boat building, the 200 year old Battery Point slip-yard.

Annick Thomas has a lifetime of experience in antiques. The superb, museum like qualities of the current collection on display and for sale in one of Hobarts oldest National Trust listed cottages, provides a genuine opportunity to enjoy Australian heritage, right on the waterfront. Focused on maritime objects and colonial furniture, in cedar and huon pine, with a range of antique jewellery and object d' art.

The waterfront, boatyard and surrounding gardens contain a ships chandlery, children's playground, quiet places to contemplate the yachts moored and sailing on the Derwent River and interpretation panels on a popular walking trail depicting the early maritime history of Tasmania.
